Half a Christmas

Our Christmas tree is pretty pathetic this year! We couldn't put the ornaments on the bottom half of it because well, let's face the truth we own two crazy little monsters that eat ornaments for lunch.  We are not even sure if this poor bald tree will even make it till Christmas because the boys still won't leave it alone.  They have now figured out how to plug and unplug the lights which is just fabulous news.  Oh well at least we tried and have a picture to prove it!

I think we will still keep them.  Good thing they are cute little stinkers!

We Have A Little Thief On Our Hands

Today Ava came out of her Preschool walking funny. At first I thought she must of hurt her foot or something at recess.  When I got her in the car and asked her what had happened she proceeds to tell that she has something in her shoe that she wants to show me!?!  So when we got home I made her take off her shoe and this is what was inside....

A feather and a white bead!  No wonder she was walking funny! I wish I could say that this was her first offense, but it isn't she has done it two other times earlier in the year.  All of the items were small insignificant things to us, but to her they are treasures. I have given her the talk that we don't take things that aren't yours, but I guess it isn't sinking in.  I don't know if I should laugh or get mad at her.  Until we figure out what to do with our little thief you had better keep an eye on all of your fuzzies, feathers and buttons!

Let There Be Turkey

We finally have a home big enough to host Thanksgiving so we quickly got nominated to have it this year. The thought of it sounded great, but then I remembered that Chris works for Target and would not be around to help me at all!!! The week leading up to it was pretty crazy and I almost just told everyone that it wasn't going to happen, but somehow we pulled it off and the day was great.

Oh how I love these two crazies!

Aunt Mellanie brought her cotton candy maker! The kids thought it was the best thing ever. She is for sure invited every year!

It was great to get everyone together, but wow I am so glad it is over! I am one tired Momma!

Freeze

Lately I have been feeling guilty that I haven't been giving all my kids the same amount of attention.  I usually have one if not both boys crawling all over me.  I try to give the girls attention when the boys are asleep,  but then there isn't anytime for cleaning or a shower. Ava gets some alone time with me when Myla is at school and the boys are napping. Poor Myla,  I feel like she gets neglected a lot because she already knows how to do things on her own.  I wish I could just freeze moments during the day so that I can make sure that they all feel loved and cared for. I don't want people to think I am complaining because I am not.  I know how blessed I am to have these four kiddos I think I just need to vent.

This most likely is not a great post for people to read, but I want to remember,

Myla: age 5

Loves anything sparkly or pink or purple
very tender hearted
loves drawing and coloring
loves kindergarten and is worried I will be lonely without her
great big sister and helper to Mommy.
loves being with friends
favorite princesses are Jasmine and Ariel
complete sweetheart
very smart with her letters and numbers
likes to do her homework

Ava: age 3

Loves animals
has a love hate relationship with bugs
constantly talks about dragons, dinosaurs and Bolt the dog
likes making everyone laugh
she is very stubborn
Loves playing with her big sister
she has a special spark about her that instantly makes you fall in love with her
loves snuggling with Mommy
calls her stuffed animals her friends and insists on sleeping with all of them

Khale: 11 months

Loves his Daddy
always has his tongue out or a binky in his mouth and one in his hand
army crawls with the best of them
stands up and walks along things
tries to climb everything
great cuddler
loves being held by Mommy
He has the best belly laugh ever
loves clapping
no teeth
climbs stairs

Greyson: 11 months

He is a Mommas boy (I love it)
is always talking and jabbering at someone or something
likes to shake his head when we say no no
loves clapping
fast crawler especially if he sees an open bathroom door or pantry
great cuddler
he has 6 teeth
loves eating fuzzies and everything yucky off the floor
he is always pulling the best faces (cheerio face and his adorable scrunched up nose face)
loves laughing
Smiles really big with his eyes closed
loves playing with Daddy

Hopefully this will help me remember these crazy busy days a little bit better in the future!

When Daddy Comes Home

These two light up when Daddy comes home from work!  I love to sit back and watch how they follow him around and when ever Chris looks at them they both just start laughing. These two definitely love their Momma but they have a special kind of love for Daddy.

You might have noticed that Greyson has on Khales helmet  in the above picture.  He thinks he is hilarious in it and tries to pull it off of Khales head so he can wear it.

Khale doesn't seem to mind sharing I think he is just over joyed to get that sweaty thing off his head.

Not Much

Not Much has been happening around here lately.  It feels like all I do right now is feed babies and change dirty diapers.  I don't mean to sound like I am complaining  because I'm not that is literally all I ever do anymore. Well I guess there is a little room for all of the hugs and kisses and cuddles that I get from my kiddos.  Life is Good!

YIKES! I just realized that this picture is one of the only pictures that I have of Myla since Christmas! Sorry Myla! Mommy is going to take at least 5 pictures of you tomorrow.
