I swore I never would
Before I had children I swore that I would never ever ever buy those ugly Velcro shoes with cartoon characters on them.

I guess I'd rather be in the "ugly shoe club" than the "my kids can't tie or put on their own shoes club". The things we do for our kids...:)
I said the same thing!!! But, I've had to buy Lightning McQueen shoes myself.
Haha! I know exactly how you feel. I used to think that we would never buy things like that. Now our house is full of disney characters and sesame street toys! But it's so worth it because it makes them so happy!
